During kick off, our build team worked to design and build a chassis that is 17" x 17.5". By Sept 12th we had a prototype of an intake built and attached to the robot. This week we started thinking about how we are going to store the artifacts and get it to the outake. This week our goal is to finish prototyping and work toward getting a robot to drive.

At the beginning of the season, we started by building a roughly 12.5 by 10.5 (without our wheels) chassis. We wanted to be able too pick up all three balls despite the small size of our robot. While the chassis was being built by some teammates, others brainstormed ideas for how we'd built the rest and achieve the goal of the challenge.
Some ideas we had were: make a wide open entry way for the intake so that we can just drive straight into the points to collect. Another idea was a somewhat gate that opens and closes that pulls them in, we then added if we did that we'd add some sort of circle at the end to give them a push when entering or, a funnel. To shoot some idea's we had were, a somewhat pea shooter or a catapult.
By the end we decided to use three catapults and the gate intake.
By the end of all this deciding, we'd finished the chassis and started the intake.
