This week our goal was to finish our intake and maybe have a drivable robot. This week we finished the liner actuator, control and expansion hub. We also got fifteen intake wheels and three more motors. We are working on the ramp support for the ramp and we are finishing the intake. Our goal next week is to get it on the field by Tuesday.

On Monday, we put our effort into completing our robots intake and outtake. As we worked, we noticed that some of our support structures were not in the right place; since our robot needed the intake wheels are to be precisely spaced to pickup and shoot the artifacts. After that, we fixed our ramp for our robot. The ramp ended up being to low and was scraping on the ground. Next, our mentors mentioned that we were at the limit of motors we could use. We considered our options and settled on replacing our front two intake wheel's motor with a servo resulting with two extra motors that we could use later if needed.

At the start of the week we started by continuing to work on our prototype. We were working on our outtake for more than three days because we kept running into new problems, one problem being that the robot was to small to get everything we needed on it. This led us to disassemble our robot to get parts to start our new robot. By Thursday we were working on a new robot. So far we have a chassis and supports for our intake and fly wheels. We also have four motors for our four drive wheels on. Now we're working on our linear actuator and more support structure. Our goal for the end of next week is a at least a fully put together intake and outtake.

This week we accomplished many things through failing fast and trial and error. To start off we put on more intake wheels, we went from either 2 or 4 to 8 wheels. We also added on two intake motors to the intake. After that we added our two drive wheel motors, and now we're working on getting on the intake brace to get the artifact from the intake to the brace to the outtake. We're also working on the ramp that connects to the brace for the artifacts to be stored on. Our goal for by the end of the week is to have the intake finished with all the gears and chains on and to start building the actual robot by Monday.
